531 Elm Street, Milford, NH (there is no posted street number).

42.8418198 North, 71.6980057 West (Approximate)

From Manchester/Bedford at the Intersection of I-293 and Route 3 (the green line on the map below):

Follow Route 101 West for 18.9 Miles.

This is important, so please either print this out or make careful notes.

Route 101-A intersects Route 101 in two spots. Coming from Manchester, you do not want to take the first intersection of 101 and 101-A. Unfortunately, the exit sign does not have an exit number. It only says 101-A. You want to continue down the road several more miles and you will see the following:

Approaching the first traffic light, you will see the State Police barracks on the left, at the light. On the right, you will see a large water fountain. At the next traffic light you will see a large propane gas storage area on the right and the Ocean National Bank (formerly Granite Bank) on your left. Make a Right Turn at these lights. The Drive-In is straight ahead, approximately 1/2 mile on the Left.

If you turned onto the first intersection of 101-A (closest to Manchester), don't despair. Follow these directions carefully. It will take you a little longer, but you'll still get to the Drive-In.

As you exit the highway, coming from the east, you make a 180 degree turn as you exit. At the traffic light, you will see a shopping center directly across the street. Turn Left. You should now see a shopping center on your right (Shaws) and you will see a Burger King 1/4 of a mile ahead on the left. Proceed straight on 101-A West. As you approach the center of Milford, you will be entering a traffic circle in the center of town. As you approach the circle, look straight ahead on the other side of the circle to see where you'll exit the circle. Entering the circle, you'll be bearing to the right to enter the circle, and then turning left to stay in the circle. While navigating the circle, make the 2nd Right Turn, which is the continuation of Rt. 101-A (also called Elm Street) by the locals. The hard part is over! Continue on 101-A West past MacDonald's. You will see Hayward's Ice Cream on the right and Talarico Auto Sales on the right. The Drive-In is up ahead on the Right Side, just past Tire Warehouse.

Note: The Bedford and Amherst Police monitor Route 101 aggressively for speeders.  When driving home, there is a speed change (with a flashing yellow light indicating entering traffic).  This spot is closely monitored due to numerous accidents over the years.  Drive the speed limit so that your evening at the Milford Drive-In Theater is not ruined.

From Nashua at Route 3 State Line (the magenta line on the map below):

Follow Route 3 North  to Exit 7 (6.5 Miles).  At Exit 7, take Route 101-A to the Intersection of Route 101 in Milford (7.4 Miles).  You will be making a left turn from 101-A onto Route 101.  Take 101 West for 5.2 Miles.  This is referred to as the Bypass, although it is Route 101, as it bypasses the center of Milford.  You will see a Shopping Center on the left and the Ocean National Bank (formerly the Granite Bank). Turn Right onto 101-A and travel approximately 0.8 miles East towards Milford Center.  You will see the Milford Drive-In Theater Marquee on the Left. - Total Distance 20.0 Miles - Travel Time of 25 Minutes.

Note: The Amherst Police monitor Route 101 and 101-A aggressively for speeders.  Be extra careful driving home, since there are several speed zone changes just after exiting 101 onto 101-A going towards Nashua.  Drive the speed limit so that your evening at the Milford Drive-In Theater is not ruined.

From the Salem, NH state line on I-93 North (Lower Map - green line and Upper Map - Magenta Line):

Follow I-93 North to Exit 3 (Approximately 4.0 Miles).  Proceed left on Route 111 (West) and travel 10.2 Miles.  Note: It gets a little confusing as you approach Nashua, so watch for these landmarks as you enter Nashua. Just prior to the Nashua line, you will cross over the Merrimack River. After crossing the bridge, the road forks slightly. The road that bears to the left is 111. The road that bears to the right leads to 101-A. Take the fork that bears slightly right. You will see a large mill complex up ahead approximately 3/4 of a mile from the bridge. The mill, BAE Systems (Sanders) has an enclosed pedestrian bridge that crosses above the road. Proceed straight ahead and you will see Nashua Common on the right and a Dunkin Donuts on the left. At that traffic light, make a right turn and then move to the left lane. At the next traffic light, which is up a slight incline, make that 70 degree left turn. This is 101-A (called Amherst Street by the locals). As you proceed down 101-A, you will pass a baseball field on the right (Greely Field). Keep going straight ahead on Rt. 101-A. You will cross over Rt. 3 (a large highway). Keep going straight and you will pass a number of shopping centers, fast food establishments, etc. Watch for signs indicating that the intersection of Rt. 101 is approaching. Stay in the left lane and cross under Rt. 101 and then make a left turn to enter Rt. 101 West. Note: you could have gone straight and you'd eventually get to the Drive-In, but this is a faster way with less turns.

Take 101 West for 5.2 Miles.  This is referred to as the Bypass by the locals, although it is Route 101, as it bypasses the center of Milford.  At the first traffic light on Rt. 101, you will see the State Police barracks on the left. On the right, you will see a large water fountain. Go through those lights and you will be taking the next right turn at that next set of lights. Prior to those lights, you will see a Shopping Center on the left and the Ocean National Bank (formerly Granite Bank) and a large propane storage facility on the right. Turn Right onto 101-A and travel approximately 0.8 miles East towards Milford Center.  You will see the Milford Drive-In Theater Marquee on the Left. - Total Distance 35 +/- Miles - Travel Time of 55 Minutes.

From the West on Route 101:

At the intersection of Route 101 and Route 101-A, proceed straight on 101-A.  Travel approximately 0.8 miles East towards Milford Center.  You will see the Milford Drive-In Theater Marquee on the Left.

A special note for our patrons coming from the Townsend MA area:

Route 13 has a speed change approaching the center of Brookline that pops up without much warning.  Rumor has it that Bob (the owner) has had a talk or two with the local police on his way home.  Watch for the signs and drive responsibly.
